Caesar liked his job. Sure, being a Private Investigator wasn't all action and glory, but he got to wear a cool hat and speak in nonsensical metaphors. His current case was a tough one; every lead dropped him right at a dead end, every suspect turned out to be a hobo with a drinking problem. Nobody had explained why they wanted him to find the perfect bowl of porridge, but he didn't care to ask. That wasn't his job. It was nothing personal.
Until someone stole his hat.
Porridge Cooling Darkly is the sister (or brother ... whatever) comic to The Avatar, and takes place in the same continuity.
