I'm going away for a week. But do not fear! For the buffer is ripe with two (2) [II] comics for the week I am not here for. Also, I did say something about a three/week update schedule coming up. The Avatar will continue to be a two/week comic. The third update will be the one that happens once a week at Porridge Cooling Darkly, which was the reason I missed the last three updates (making the site and things). PCD is essentially an extention of The Avatar, specifically, following Caesar's storyline. His storyline is quite seperate from that of the other characters and elaborate enough on its own, so it made sense to give Caesar his own comic. The Avatar itself will no longer directly follow his storyline (since there would be no point to that now), though he's still part of the comic and will appear whenever his path crosses with the other characters - which it will, eventually. |

Monday's comic will be a bit late. Possibly a whole day late, I'm not sure. THAT IS ALL. Return to your (fence?) posts. Also people should read Freedom Fries. Cause it's hilarious. And stuff. |

Well first off, Amber has stepped down from the comic and I am now in charge again. Infrequent updates AHOY Well hopefully not, although I did miss Tuesday's comic. There was a good reason for this though. I did the comic two times more than I should have, that is to say that I did it thrice. At first I drew it, then I realised it was a terrible comic, then I rewrote and redrew it, but then it needed colour so I coloured it, but then I was possessed by crazy tablet-obsessed hobos which forced me to redo the whole thing using only the tablet. Which brings me to my next point, which is I'm going to start doing the comics with a tablet again. I'm doing this because I really want to bring the comic into consistent full colour, however the old method was far too inefficient to do it all the time. However if I only use the tablet, it cuts out the pencil drawing, scanning and outlining completely, so it should be a lot faster. Also the title of this news post is totally irrelevant, it's just that I just finished watching the extended editions of LOTR so you must all suffer. |
